Lakes District Annual Klondike Campout
On this campout we go up to Camp Manatoc in Penninsula, Ohio and sleep out in the cold (Yes it is in tents). There are a ton of events and cook offs. In the end there are REWARDS!!!!!
Scout Ski Day
Every winter our Troop heads off to a ski resort for a scout ski day. We’ll go skiing, there is a merit badge to take, and we have lunch in the ski resort’s restaurant.
Cabin Camping

When our Webelos cross over, their first campout is in a cabin so they get into the hang of winter camping.
Traveling Camping Adventures
Every month we go out on some type of campout and do advancements for each rank we’re working towards and go on some hikes.
Summer Adventure – Fort Niagara, NY
The Troop goes up to Fort Niagara in New York and learns about how the French soldiers lived and defended the fort.
Summer Camp –
Camp Manatoc
Every summer we go up to Camp Manatoc for their week long summer camp. Boys have a chance to earn merit badges and learn new skills in one week.
Pennsylvania Canoe Trip
We go north of Pittsburg on the Alleghany river in Pennsylvania and take our canoes and row till we get to our campsite.
Bike and Ride
Sometimes we decide to go out to the Cuyahoga Valley Railroad and ride the train to a certain stop then we get our bikes and ride on them on the towpath trail.
